Birch Moon Arts was created in 2005 by Sarah Webster who brings her rich artistic talents and a history of experimental design to her art.

Sarah trained as a photographer at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada, where she attained her BFA in 1999. In addition to photography she has worked in a variety of media including mosaic, mural painting, wood carving, quilting, and paper cutting.

For many years, Birch Moon Arts was based in Toronto until 2012, when Sarah bought an old farmstead in Roseneath, Ontario, east of Toronto, and made the move from the city to the country.

Birch Moon Arts primarily focuses on photography and the paper arts, including paper-cut cards combining original designs with the ancient traditions of precision paper-cuts, printed acetate cards inspired by native tribal design styles from around the world, cards employing natural birch bark, and vintage photographs.

Welcome to the Birch Moon Arts website, browse (and maybe buy!) and enjoy your time here. We hope you come back often.
